Anyone who attended Harrow School within living memory will know who Fred Wyeth is.

Fred has devoted his life to the integral communication system at the school and even at the venerable age of ninety, is still contributing his extensive knowledge to the world of telecommunications, a technology that has changed beyond recognition throughout his lifetime.

Telecommunications Company, Ardencom, is a leading solutions provider in telecommunication technology and has worked over the last two years, under Fred's experienced watch whilst completing the the first phase of Harrow's maintenance support and telecoms upgrade project.

Tony Brewer, Technical Director for Ardencom said, ' Fred contributed amazing wisdom as we upgraded the system to achieve the objectives of this world-class education establishment.  Our intention is to provide a world-class telecommunications platform to match. The staged approach project has just entered its second phase and will take five years to complete. The school's Boarding Houses and campus has over eight hundred extensions and the project's result will be ground breaking.'

Stephen Henstock, Sales Director for Ardencom has organised a Demo Facility for the 22nd February so that staff, lecturers and students can interact with the equipment and its new features and give their feedback.  Stephen says, 'we want to work in an inclusive environment with everyone at Harrow who will be using the new technology. Our company is delighted to engineer strident progress in this sector as well as business and commercial arenas.'

Bryan Brown, Assistant Bursar at Harrow has worked with Ardencom on a day-to-day basis as they provide maintenance support for the existing Mitel SX2000 telephone system whilst the upgrade project is progressed.  He says, 'our relationship with Ardencom has been remarkable.  Their management team couldn't be more dedicated and the engineering crew has done its level best to cause the least disruption possible. We are delighted with the completion of the first phase and excited to embark on the second.
